And you can do just that during this full-day, guided adventure to explore Vung Tau, one of the country's most beautiful cities.
It all begins at your pier where you will board an air-conditioned motorcoach and set out on a scenic drive through the lush and verdant countryside.

The loveliness of Vung Tau envelopes you as you journey through its main streets. A resort town, it is located in the province of Dong Nai and features two famous mountains - Large Mountain and Small Mountain, nestled against a glistening ocean.

Visit the mystical Whale Temple erected in honor of whales which, legend has it, protect local fishermen and their ships. In fact, when a whale dies and washes ashore, the locals drag it to the temple. A festival follows, complete with traditional songs and dancing. And the whale bones are buried at the temple for three years, then dug up and put on display.

Photo and shopping opportunities abound during your visit to Front Beach. Located west of the city where the sun concludes the day in a brilliant show of colors, this gorgeous beach is lined with restaurants, shops and elegant hotels, making it a popular tourist stop.

Take a break from your exploring to enjoy a delicious buffet lunch at the Bihn An Resort. Binh An means "peace" and that is what you'll experience as you indulge in Vietnamese and Western cuisine amidst a setting of serene, landscaped gardens, rocky cliffs and a coastal view of the South China Seas.

A countryside tour is part of your adventure, and you'll visit a village temple and the Old House, a local, family-owned market. Here you will be treated to demonstrations of local rice wine, rice paper and rice noodle making. Then experience the loveliness of the lush grounds as you enjoy fresh seasonal fruits in the farmer's fruit garden. It's a delicious and refreshing way to cap off you day of exploration prior to re-boarding your motorcoach for you scenic drive back to your ship.
