What you will visit:

Fazer Visitor Center
Fazer chocolate was founded in 1891 by Helsinki native Karl Fazer and grew to become a cherished brand throughout Finland. In 2016, the illustrious company celebrated 125 years in business by opening a new visitor's center. Designed by the Finnish architectural team of K2S, the center boasts an exhibition hall, a gift shop and a café. It offers tours of the modern facility and serves as an elegant venue for parties, cooking classes and corporate events.

What you will see along the way:
Helsinki
A drive through this remarkable capital reveals a broad spectrum of stunning architecture, from the golden onion domes that top the mighty red-brick edifice of Uspenski Cathedral - the largest Orthodox church in Western Europe - to the soaring white walls of the 1,300-seat Opera House, to the smooth asymmetry of Alvar Aalto's architectural masterpiece, Finlandia Hall. In the center of the city lies the Market Square, a huge marketplace offering traditional foods and crafts alongside modern cafes and bakeries.
Photo Opportunity:

Senate Square / Lutheran Church
Four stunning examples of neoclassical architecture grace this remarkable square. Designed by Carl Ludvig Engel between 1822 and 1852, these four pillars include the Government Palace, a University of Helsinki building, the National Library and Helsinki Cathedral. The Lutheran cathedral's central dome soars 80 meters above sea level, and this glorious landmark, one of the most famous and photographed buildings in the land, is considered to be the symbol of Helsinki.

Sibelius Park to view the Sibelius Monument
Finnish composer Jean Sibelius was born in Hämeenlinna, Finland, in 1865 and is considered the nation's greatest composer. Following his death in 1957, the Sibelius Society sponsored a competition to design a monument in his honor. The winning sculpture, by Finnish artist Eila Hiltunen, features over 600 hollow pipes fashioned into a wave pattern, with a bust of the composer nearby. At over 27 feet tall and weighing a massive 24 tons, this beautiful monument is a popular tourist destination.

Snack:
Chocolate snacks and a goodie bag of treats are presented at the conclusion of your tour.
