Helsingborg & Coastal Drive

Your half-day tour begins with a short drive through the center of Helsingborg, past the Main Square and Town Hall, built in neo-Gothic style. You'll also pass the Concert Hall, home of the internationally renowned Helsingborg's Symphony Orchestra, and Sofiero Manor, a former royal summer residence.

Next, you'll travel north to the Kullaberg Peninsula and its nature reserve. Along the coast, you'll pass the fishing village of Old Viken, with its half-timbered houses and through Höganäs, the center of Sweden's pottery industry. Continue north through the small costal settlements and Krapperup Manor to Mölle, a picturesque and beautifully located village at the entrance of Kullaberg, a beautiful nature reserve with ravines, steep cliffs and a wide variety of flora and fauna. The Guide Michelin has awarded Kullaberg a prestigious three-star rating in its guide to Swedish sights.

The tour takes you to the tip of the peninsula. You can take a walk up to see the old light house located on the steep rocks, from where you can enjoy the magnificent panoramic view over the entrance of the Sound between Sweden and Denmark. You can also take a look at the new Visitor's Centre, Naturrum, where you can see exhibitions about the area's geology, flora, fauna and cultural history.

The next stop is at the medieval Brunnby Church, famous for its 14th century frescos. This 12th century Romanesque church is famous for the 15th century paintings that embellish the vault of the aisle. The Guide Michelin has awarded Brunnby Church a two-star rating in its guide to Swedish sights.

After a short drive you will arrive at Flickorna Lundgren, a lovely, traditional and famous café with a beautiful garden. Coffee/tea and cake are included in the tour.

A relaxing and scenic drive through the nice countryside takes you back to Helsingborg and the pier.

Special Notes:

Passengers can choose to take an approximate 200-yard up-hill walk to reach the Kullaberg Lighthouse and the Visitor's Centre.

Bring Swedish Kronor or credit cards for additional purchases.

Wear comfortable walking shoes and dress according to the day's conditions. Bring a hat and a light sweater or jacket.

Tour groups are not allowed inside the church during services and private ceremonies.

Refreshment stop at Flickorna Lundgren subject to availability.
