Nova Scotia's rugged coastal beauty is on display as you hike along a landscape that has barely changed for 12,000 years. Behold beautiful ocean vistas, incredible rock formations and a variety of unique and rare plan species.

Peggy's Cove
The coastal village of Peggy's Cove have charmed visitors since 1811 and has inspired hundreds of artists and photographers ever since. Amble along its picturesque streets, browse the enchanting shops after your hike or join your guide and learn about the local lobster fishery and see different styles of traps.

PHOTO OPPORTUNITY
The Peggy's Cove Preservation Area is home to porcupine, mink, deer and eagles as well as a myriad of sea life and bird life. You may even spot a whale, after all, this is the migratory route for local whale populations.

WHAT YOU SEE ALONG THE WAY
Enjoy a few of Halifax's highlights as you depart the pier with your local guide and travel the scenic lighthouse route to the Peggy's Cove Preservation Area, which sits just outside the famous coastal village of Peggy's Cove.
