What you will visit:

Annapolis Valley Winery
Tucked into the western region of the Nova Scotia peninsula is a local winery that makes good use of the lush and fertile agricultural region. Meet owners Cacilia Stutz, who was born in Switzerland and moved to Nova Scotia in 1999, alongside her husband Jurg, wine maker and co-owner of Grand Pré Wines. You'll be escorted into their beautiful tasting room to sip delicious artisan wines from the Annapolis Valley while gaining in-depth knowledge about the grape hybrids unique to the region and the history of this boutique, award-winning winery.

Wolfville (independent exploration)
Nestled in the heart of the Annapolis Valley and perched at the edge of the magnificent Bay of Fundy, the 400-year-old village of Wolfville is a perfect blend of small-town charm, a lively college scene due to proximity to Acadia University, and a burgeoning wine and culinary scene. Explore on your own, browse through the many quaint shops, view the heritage homes, visit the Randall House Museum, or view the dykes built by the French in the 1600s. East of town, you'll find Grand-Pré, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that commemorates the 2,000 Acadian community members who were expelled in 1755, an event immortalized in Longfellow's poem "Evangeline."

What you will see along the way:
Getting there really is half the fun on a scenic motorcoach drive into Nova Scotia's famed Annapolis Valley. Known as the "Land of orchards, vineyards and tides," the area's bucolic landscapes, pristine vineyards and famed Bay of Fundy, home to the world's highest tides, are a treasure to behold.

Photo Opportunity:
Have your camera ready! From atop the 600-foot-high cliff known as Blomidon Look-Off, you'll have unparalleled picture-postcard views of the dramatic Bay of Fundy, Annapolis Valley, Cape Blomidon and the New Minas Basin.

Lunch/Snack:
While in Wolfville, enjoy lunch on your own in one of the many quaint restaurants and cafes. Later, your tour includes a stop at Hennigar's Farm Market, well-known for its fresh produce, baked goods and ice cream (at your own expense). This charming marketplace also features a petting zoo and a duck pond.

Special Notes:

Museum admissions are not included. Wear comfortable footwear and warm jacket or sweater. Amount of walking is at your discretion. At the Bay of Fundy, you will see evidence of the extreme tide changes but not the famous tidal bore, visible only further up the bay in St John. Please note that the duration of the tour will be based on the ship's time at port.
