Meet eagles, falcons and other birds of prey during a two-hour excursion to the American Bald Eagle Foundation, dedicated to the protection and preservation of the bald eagle's habitat through its educational and research activities. But first, enjoy a scenic tour through Haines and Fort Seward followed by an outstanding photo opportunity at Picture Point. Once you arrive at the American Bald Eagle Foundation you'll be introduced to one of the many well-trained handlers who will offer an overview of North American raptors such as bald eagles, owls, hawks, owls, and falcons. Witness one of these noble creatures swoop and soar during a live demonstration and watch how they eat when they come back down to earth. After some free time in the gift shop you'll rejoin your coach and enjoy a scenic drive back to Haines ready to begin your next adventure.
