Board your motorcoach and drive out of St. Peter Port. Cross the island and head towards the dramatic western coast. Your first stop will be the La Valette Museum. View a selection of musical instruments, used by the troops stationed in Guernsey, together with uniforms, weapons and equipment. Continue on to the Underground Hospital and Munitions Store. This complex is the largest structural reminder of the German Occupation existing in the Channel Islands. Almost invisible from the surface, this vast concrete maze is built under a low hill in the heart of the Guernsey countryside. View the remains of the heating plant, encounter abandoned hospital beds, and see the remains of the cooking arrangements. Along the two main corridors, one can also see the X-ray room, laboratory, staff sleeping quarters, store rooms, cinema and mortuary.

Participation is very limited; book early to avoid disappointment. This tour normally sells out in advance of the cruise.

Tour is operated by motorcoach or minibus with a driver/guide combination. Therefore, please note that it is not always possible for additional assistance to be given to guests with mobility issues. No motorised wheelchairs/scooters permitted on any excursions.


The order of visits may be reversed to avoid congestion..
