Horseback Riding Adventure
Enjoy stunning coastal vistas from the seat of your trusty steed on a horseback riding adventure that makes the most of Grand Turk's sun and sand. Guests are matched up to a horse according to their riding abilities (no experience required, first timers welcome!). Follow experienced guides along the windswept bluffs overlooking the sparkling Atlantic and learn the history of the iconic lighthouse in the distance.

Grand Turk Lighthouse
Rising 60 feet high and made of cast iron, the lighthouse serves as a reminder of Grand Turk's storied past. Built in the United Kingdom and reassembled piece by piece on the island, the Grand Turk Lighthouse stands tall on its cliff-top overlook, protecting ships for the northern reefs. Spectacular views from the cliffs over the Atlantic Ocean may reveal a migrating humpback whale or a passing eagle ray in the clear azure waters.

What you will see along the way:
En route, you'll pass Governor's Beach, the local airport, and several of Grand Turk's natural salinas, representative of the island's salt industry, once the main source of income in the 19th century. You'll drive through the charming little city of Cockburn Town. On your return drive, you'll pass North Creek. If you're lucky, you may catch a glimpse of the famous endangered pink flamingos while they bask in the sun in one of the many salinas on the island.

Special Notes:

Wear a swimsuit under your clothes and bring a towel and adequate sun protection. Once participants join their tour, they will be required to complete a liability waiver. The maximum weight limit per rider is 230 pounds. Minimum age to participate is 6 years old. Participants must wear a helmet. Aqua shoes are recommended. Women who are pregnant may not participate on this tour. The photo service at the venue is not affiliated with or provided by the cruise line. Any photos purchased from this service will be the passengers' responsibility.
