WHAT YOU VISIT
Atlantis Adventure Center
A short walk from the cruise terminal, you'll board a ferry boat for a 10-minute cruise to the Atlantis TS-XI, a U.S. Coast Guard-approved, 65-foot long battery-powered submersible specially designed for sightseeing adventures in tropical waters. The Atlantis has a 48-passenger capacity, with a large front captain's bubble, and 26 large side portholes that provide a window into the fascinating undersea world. After a dive to approximately 100 feet, you'll glide silently and effortlessly along a coral wall teeming with marine life and exotic coral formations.

PHOTO OPPORTUNITY
Be sure to keep your camera handy for a myriad of marine life that swim past the portholes (400 ASA film or higher is recommended for taking photographs from the submarine, as a flash will not work).

WHAT YOU SEE ALONG THE WAY
The eastern coast of Grand Cayman's waters is teeming with exotic marine life. In addition to Elkhorn coral and sponges, be on the lookout for sea turtles, Caribbean reef sharks, Hawksbill turtles, spotted eagle rays and the flamingo tongue, a one-inch-long marine snail.

Special Notes:

Due to safety reasons, the minimum height required to participate is 36 inches. The minimum age required is 4 years old. Participants must negotiate 11 steep steps to get down into the sub. Passengers with cameras should use 400 ASA or higher speed film onboard the sub for best results. The sub is U.S. Coast Guard certified. Depending on the location where your ship's tender docks, guests may have to walk up to 200 yards (10-15 minutes) to reach the ferry boat for the submarine.
