Discover the unspoiled bonnie banks of Loch Lomond on a relaxing one-hour cruise across its placid waters. A short coach ride from the pier takes you through the hills and glens of Trossachs National Park to Scotland's most famous lake and the UK's largest body of freshwater. After boarding a pleasure boat, you'll glide through the waters, past stately Victorian homes, and in the distance, you can see Inchmurrin, the largest of 60 isles in Loch Lomond and home to the ruins of a 7th century monastery and 14th century Lennox Castle. Next, head around the Kilpatrick Hills, skirting Loch Lomond and stop for shopping at Loch Lomond Shores. Finally, you'll return to your ship via Dumbarton, once the center of the 5th century Kingdom of the Strathclyde Britons and famous for the siege of the fortress at Dumbarton Rock in 870 by the Vikings.
