Your adventurous, full-day, moderately-active excursion to explore Glasgow begins at your pier where you will board your motorcoach. Enjoy a 45-minute drive into the heart of Glasgow's city center where you will disembark the coach and begin your day of discovery.

You will be provided with complimentary city maps for your convenience. Then, take off on your own to explore the wonders of Scotland's largest city!

Choose to survey some of Glasgow's highlights, such as Tolbooth Tower, built in 1627 to house the city's council chamber, Glasgow Green, the oldest of the city's parks, and Provand's Lordship, the only house to survive from the medieval city.

Or, visit Cathedral Square for a tour of the majestic 12th-century medieval Glasgow Cathedral, the only cathedral in Scotland to have survived the Reformation intact. You may also tour St. Mungo Museum of Religious Life and Art, the only public museum dedicated to examining all the world's major religious faiths.

Your exploration may take you to Kelvingrove Park, the site of the world-famous Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum, one of Glasgow's landmark buildings and the most visited museum in the United Kingdom outside of London.

During your day of independent adventure, take time to shop in one of the city's many spectacular shopping malls: among them, the chic and trendy Princes Square, the enormous St. Enoch Centre and the historical Argyle Arcade. Or, peruse the smaller outlets of the city's bohemian West End.

You'll want to take time from your exploration to enjoy a delicious meal at one of the many top-class cafés, restaurants, pubs and wine bars found throughout this stunning city before rejoining your motorcoach at a predetermined time for the return drive back to Greenock.
