Be sure to read the Special Notes further down this page for important requirements and restriction.
Greenough is a charming country village renowned for its pioneering history, restored heritage buildings, unusual 'leaning' trees and the Greenough River.
Get up close with Australia's cute, endemic wildlife at the Greenough Wildlife & Bird Park -- a fantastic experience for the whole family. A ranger guide shares firsthand knowledge about how the park rescues, rehabilitates and releases injured and orphaned animals. You'll have a chance to feed a kangaroo or hold a snake.
Wander through the historical Greenough settlement and eleven of its beautifully restored character stone buildings. These are remnants of a once-thriving community of 19th-century pioneers. Enjoy a morning/afternoon snack at the café.
A fantastic and very quirky photo opportunity is the leaning trees of Greenough. Strong, salt-laden winds blowing in off the Indian Ocean have forced the trees to grow horizontally. This surreal sight has become something of an icon for this part of Australia.
