Armed with city maps, you'll be dropped off at a central location and set free to see where the day takes you. Walk through Old Town to view historic highlights such as medieval gates, a 13th-century merchant road, a 15th-century palace and the massive Neptune's Fountain, one of Gdañsk's most recognizable symbols. Revel in Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque architecture you encounter along the way. Tour St. Mary's Basilica, the world's largest brick church. Visit Solidarity Square to view the monument to the striking workers slain by the regime in 1970. Tour the Roads To Freedom Exhibition depicting Poland's turbulent path to democracy. Take time out from your exploration to indulge in a traditional Polish-style meal or visit Mariacka Street to shop for souvenirs and amber jewelry.

The drive between Gdynia and Gdansk is approximately one hour each way subject to traffic conditions.
Tour duration varies depending on the length of time your ship will be in Gdynia. The longest possible time will be permitted in Gdansk.
