Kayaking on the Naeroyfjord: A UNESCO World Heritage Site

The exquisite scenery of western Norway was created when water from glaciers and rivers carved through the rock formations creating a wonderland of mountain ranges, valleys, and deep fjords. Explore these magnificent natural landscapes on an exhilarating kayaking adventure. Your five-hour adventure begins with a scenic 20 -minute drive from the port to Gudvangen, a small village and tourist destination situated at the tip of the Nærøyfjord. Here, you'll arrive at the Kayaking Station, where you'll engage in a safety briefing and meet your guide. Set off in both one and two-seater kayaks, depending on ability, and glide down crystal Nærøyfjord, drenched with natural wonder, steep mountainsides, thundering waterfalls, and narrow passages accessible only in your nimble kayak. After one hour of paddling, pause for a picnic lunch, then view the route from the reverse vantage point. Reboard the motorcoach for the relaxing drive back to port.

Special Notes:

Neoprene booties, sleeveless wetsuit, paddle jacket, lifejacket, spraydeck, a waterproof box for camera's or cell phones. In addition our guides are carrying first aid equipment and means of communication in order to be able to resolve any issues during the tour.
A combination of double and single kayaks so that everybody will have a chance to be in a kayak suitable to their skill level.
