WHAT YOU VISIT
ROSE HALL GREAT HOUSE AND THE SHOPPES AT ROSE HALL
Evidence of Falmouth's illustrious past is visible in the lovely Jamaican-Georgian buildings such as the Rose Hall Great House, considered the largest plantation great house in the Caribbean. Built in 1760, the lovely mansion boasts picture-perfect views, a magnificent collection of furnishings and décor, and even a ghost or two. According to legend, Annie Palmer murdered her husband who owned Rose Hall, as well as two subsequent husbands and numerous male plantation slaves. And today, her ghost wanders the estate she once called home. Your tour concludes in the dungeon where you can swap spooky stories over a glass of fruit juice.

Restored in the 1960s and 1970s, Rose Hall's elegant ambiance highlights the era's wealth with crystal chandeliers, mahogany floors, silk wallpaper and classic European antiques.
