River Rafting on the Martha Brae

WHAT YOU VISIT
- Martha Brae River
Enjoy the stillness and pristine beauty of Mother Nature during a relaxing and scenic cruise down the Martha Brae River. Once you arrive at the riverbank you'll board a 30-foot bamboo raft and your guide will push off into the emerald waters. As you drift and daydream along the three-mile-long portion of the river, your guide will share his knowledge of the area and point out the exotic flora and fauna among this tranquil setting.

PHOTO OPPORTUNITY
Exotic birds like woodpeckers and colorful hummingbirds dart in and out of the trees. Be on the lookout for the ackee, the country's national fruit, which grows on an evergreen tree along the river banks.

SHOPPING
As you make your way back to the ship, you'll stop for souvenirs before returning to your ship.

WHAT YOU SEE ALONG THE WAY
A scenic ride along Jamaica's picturesque coastline gives way to the untouched paradise down as the Martha Brae River.

The minimum age required to participate is 3 years old. No expectant mothers over four months. There are sevensteps to get to the river to board the raft. Bring your camera on the raft at your own risk.
