What you will visit:
EPIC The Irish Emigration Museum
Voted one of Trip Advisor's Top 5 Irish Museums, EPIC is a fascinating experiential museum devoted to Irish history, located by the banks of the River Liffey, in the restored CHQ building in Dublin's Docklands. Twenty galleries use film footage, actors and interactive displays to tell the stories of Irish emigration around the world, from early times to modern day. Each room has a different layout, with video screens, audiovisual pods and collaborative kiosks. The displays explore Ireland's influence on the arts, education, science, politics and sports, and they feature some of their most popular exports, such as 'Riverdance,' Guinness and the tradition of the Irish pub. This truly immersive experience tells remarkable tales of sacrifice, endurance and discovery and brings to life the amazing stories of Irish emigration through the centuries.

Shopping:
In the museum's retail area, shop for gifts, books on Irish genealogy-related topics, family tree DNA kits and a selection of souvenirs.

What you will see along the way:
