Trafalgar Falls
At one of Dominica's most fascinating and picturesque areas in the south central section of the island, a walk through dense foliage takes you to Trafalgar Falls, where you'll marvel at the twin falls cascading into a deep pool, surrounded by forest, lush ferns, and tropical flowers.

Morne Trois Pitons National Park
Together with your guide, you'll trek among ginger plants and vanilla orchids to the Emerald Pool formed by a waterfall cascading over a fern-covered cliff. You're welcome to stand behind the 40-foot waterfall and cool off with a dip or simply admire the surroundings of this breathtaking tropical rainforest.

Roseau
Dominica's sassy and colorful capital, Roseau (rose-oh) hugs the southwest coast of the Roseau River. It is the hub of this small island of volcanic terrain, sparkling waterfalls, beaches and lush national parks set against a backdrop of emerald mountains. Roseau's dense town center boasts historic buildings made of wood and stone that line the streets with a unique architectural style that borrows from the Spanish, English and French. A scenic drive reveals both the lovely natural highlights of the Roseau Valley as well as the city's landmarks.

From the panoramic hilltop of Morne Bruce, point your lens at the stellar views of the entire town of Roseau and the Botanical Gardens.

Snack:

Special Notes:

The rustic paths at the Emerald Pool are steep and may be slippery. To reach the pool itself requires negotiating many steep steps. This active excursion is suitable only for guests in good physical condition. Wear comfortable clothes and sturdy walking shoes or hiking boots.
