Experience an authentic Outback adventure with a cruise along the Adelaide River in search of saltwater crocodiles (known locally as "salties"). This Animal Planet Recommended cruise affords a unique, up-close encounter, allowing for fantastic photo opportunities from the comfort of your boat. Once you arrive at the mouth of the Adelaide River, you'll embark on an exciting hour-long riverboat cruise. As you cruise the banks of the river, you will gain an understanding of these fascinating cold-blooded reptiles and why the crocodile that was believed to be facing extinction 30 years ago now numbers more than 80,000 in the waterways of Northern Australia. Keep your camera handy to record the Northern Territory's unspoiled beauty and the famous jumping crocodiles. See the famous salties shoot out of the water in the pursuit of their prey. Afterwards, journey to the Humpty Doo Aussie Outback pub for a cool drink.
