A Segway® is a personal transportation system perfect for seeing the sights of colorful Costa Maya at a unique and relaxed pace. A taxi ride from the pier brings you to the Segway® meeting place for a safety briefing and orientation. Segways® are easy to ride and very stable. A short practice session and off you go! Costa Maya is a coastal tourist town in the Mexican Caribbean lined with hotels, restaurants and sparkling beaches. Glide along a paved path and take in the sites. Back at the beach, swim, relax on the shore and enjoy a beverage. When you wish to go back to the ship, taxi transportation is available.
Special Notes:
Closed toe shoes must be worn while on the Segway. Wear your swimsuit under your clothing; bring a towel, hat, insect repellent, sunglasses, additional clothing, cameras and reef-safe/biodegradable sunscreen (no other kind of sunscreen is allowed in the water). To avoid sunburn, bring light, long clothing suitable for use as a cover-up. Minimum age to participate is 12 years old, maximum age to participate is 65 years old. Minimum weight to participate is 100 pounds and maximum weight to participate is 250 pounds. Once participants join their tour, they will be required to complete a liability waiver.Medical Restriction:
Expectant mothers, guests with diabetes, heart conditions or if you are taken any form of blood pressure medication are not allowed to participate for safety reasons.Details
