Set your sights and camera on the unspoiled beauty of the Tablelands. This full-day outing takes you into Gros Morne National Park, a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site. To learn more about what you'll encounter you'll disembark at the Discovery Center. Then, take a short shuttle ride to the trailhead for a 80-minute walk through a world that conjures up images of the moon. Ancient rocks called peridotite-usually found 30-200km below the earth's surface-are scattered over a bronze colored plateau and steep red slopes. After you wind your way back you'll continue on to lunch at the Old Loft Restaurant overlooking picturesque Bonne Bay. Finally, return for the scenic ride back to Corner Brook.
