A colorful mix of antiquity and fun in the sun, this tour takes you past the ancient landmarks of a fabled isle. Meet your guide at the pier and set off on an active half-day tour brimming with variety. Your narrated drive past some of Corfu Town's major monuments such as the Old and New Fortress and Esplanade Square introduces you to the lively atmosphere of narrow streets lined with shops and tavernas. Continuing along the coast to Paleokastritsa Village, considered by many to offer the finest scenery in the Mediterranean, you'll visit the Monastery of Agia Paraskevi. The present-day complex was erected in the 18th century and offers breathtaking views of Paleokastritsa, so grab your camera. Next, you'll spread your towel on the fine sand of Glyfada beach where you can swim, doze or hire a watercraft. Hungry? There are cafes and tavernas just a few steps away.
Special Notes:
Respectful attire must be worn when visiting the Monastery. Please note that ladies must have their shoulders covered and shorts are not permitted. There are up to 15 steps to negotiate at the Agia Paraskevi Monastery . Photography and filming are not permitted in the Agia Paraskevi Monastery.Umbrellas, beach chairs, food and drinks at Glyfada Beach are not included. Bring Euros or Credit Cards.
Glyfada Beach may be replaced by Barbati Beach on the North East Coast.
Please remember to take along your swim suit,a towel, sun protection.
Lifeguards will be present on the beach.
