WHAT YOU VISIT
Situated against a backdrop of astonishing natural wonders of water, beach and sunshine, you'll learn that the Conflict Islands are privately owned by entrepreneur and conservationist Ian Gowrie-Smith. Located 94 miles from the tip of Papua New Guinea, the island group of 21 islands stretches out over 926 miles around an atoll abundant with lagoons and coral reefs, and mostly uninhabited, unspoiled and unknown islands. A visit to a local copra plant offers an illuminating look at copra production – from the harvesting of coconuts to the drying and to the processing.
Snap, post and let the folks back home see what they're missing.
During your idyllic walk you'll stop for a cold drink of fresh coconut water.
WHAT YOU SEE ALONG THE WAY
Marvel at the long stretches of talcum-powder sand that fringe aquamarine waters, tall palm trees that sway in the breeze and the soft sandy pathways.
