History unveils itself in this half-day tour. Your first stop is Castillo de San Felipe de Barajas (Fort of San Felipe), the most important work of Spanish military engineering in South America. Las Bóvedas, once dungeons, is now home to boutiques and tourist shops. After a quick shopping spree, you'll travel to the famed Old City, a walled city with narrow streets and Spanish Colonial buildings. You'll continue to the 18th century Historical Museum of Cartagena and the San Pedro Claver Sanctuary. You'll cap your day off with a stop at the Navy Museum where you can enjoy a local show and a refreshing soft drink.

Special Notes:

There is a paved, fairly steep incline that must be negotiated to reach the interior of the fortress. A complimentary beverage is included in the tour. The name of the Inquisition Palace has changed to the Historical Museum of Cartagena.
