WHAT YOU VISIT
San Jose del Cabo
Located in Baja California Sur, this charming town boasts beautiful cobblestone streets, an art gallery district and a mission that founded in 1730. When you arrive, you'll stroll through the quaint town-square, and past historical buildings that date back to colonial times. Your first stop is a traditional glass blowing factory, where you'll witness gifted artisans create amazing art with their hands. Next, you'll visit the Baja Brewing Co. for a sampling of their craft beer. Your last stop is at the incredible Huichol Gallery that's filled with impressive art work created by Huichol Indians.
Tamarindo Organic Farm
Just 15 minutes from San Jose del Cabo, the farm is a vision of farmer-in-chief, Enrique Silva, who created the farm for his need to have the freshest produce and herbs for his own cooking. Walk among the crops and harvest your own vegetables and aromatic herbs. Then in a beautiful kitchen terrace built in stonewalls and wooden ceilings, you'll have a hands-on class, guided by a chef, and learn to prepare different salsas and cook a succulent organic free-range chicken Mexican dish. After the class, share a common table tasting the fruits of your labor while you enjoy the view of the fields and the breeze of the Sea of Cortez.
From the colonial-style Iglesia San José mission to the spacious main square known as Plaza Mijares, San Jose del Cabo offers one photo op after another.
Enjoy shopping for art work at the Huichol Gallery.
