Chileno Bay Sail & Snorkel

After a brief safety orientation, board your deluxe motorized catamaran and sail from the pier past Lover's Beach, a breathtaking secluded beach only accessible by boat. On one side lies tranquil Cabo San Lucas Bay and on the other, the pounding waves of the Pacific are a dramatic sight to behold. Nearby, a loveable colony of sea lions make their home and the impressive rock formations at Land's End make for spectacular photographs.

Your boat heads across the bay eastward down the coast towards Chileno Bay, located about 11 miles from Cabo San Lucas. Knowledgeable guides will offer instruction and provide you with all your snorkeling equipment and safety vest. Enter the crystal waters with your guide and begin an underwater adventure.

The marine life is spectacular and you will see a rainbow of tropical fish, including Moorish idols and king and Cortez angelfish. These waters are particularly fertile and are home to hundreds of species of fish, each more colorful than the next. In addition, there is an extremely diverse spectrum of corals, sponges, and urchins, as well as sea turtles and octopi. If you are lucky, you may even see a pod of playful dolphins swimming by.

For those who prefer to work on their tan, lounge across the bow nets of the catamaran.

Throughout your excursion, the well-stocked onboard bar serves nonalcoholic beverages, and at the completion of the snorkeling, complimentary adult beverages are served. Delicious snacks are provided, as are fresh water showers. The sails are hoisted as you pass the luxury coastline resorts on your cruise back to the pier.

Special Notes:

Wear your swimsuit under your clothing; bring a towel, hat, and reef-safe/biodegradable sunscreen (no other kind of sunscreen is allowed in the water). To avoid sunburn, bring light, long clothing suitable for use as a cover-up. Bring a hat, sun glasses, a camera and extra cash. Once participants join their tour, they will be required to complete a liability waiver. Snorkeling equipment including snorkel vest are provided and must be worn. Snorkeling takes place from the boat. Minimum age is 8 to participate and the maximum age is 75 years. The maximum person weight is 280 pounds. Not recommended for expectant mothers or guests with knee, back or hip problems.
