What you will visit:

The John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum
John F. Kennedy himself chose this idyllic locale set on a nine acre park overlooking the waterfront, facing the sparkling sea and the city he loved. Tragically, Kennedy was assassinated prior to the start of construction on the library but this striking I.M. Pei-designed building is a vibrant tribute to the 35th president's legacy. The museum details many facets of President Kennedy's life and political career through multimedia exhibits and re-creations of the president's time in office. Step back in history to the 1960s as you enter a series of intimate rooms containing artifacts, memorabilia and re-creations.

John Adams National Park
Peacefield, also known as Old House, is a lovely estate formerly owned by President John Adams, now part of the Adams National Historical Park. First occupied by Adams in 1788, the elegant residence was home to four generations of the Adams family and is filled with original furniture and paintings. The park's service ranger provides a guided tour of the home's treasures, including the family's stone library, while providing historical perspective.

What you will see along the way:
Board a comfortable motorcoach for a pleasant drive to the Kennedy Library. Located on Columbia Point on Boston's picturesque waterfront, the library and museum are housed in a striking I.M. Pei-designed building on a 9-acre property populated with pine trees and fragrant rose bushes. Then, enjoy a pleasant drive to Quincy, Massachusetts for a visit to John Adams National Park.

Special Notes:

Tour sequence may vary due to traffic conditions. The use of motorized wheelchairs or scooters are not permitted in the Peacefield house due to the historic nature of the home and standard wheelchairs chairs can only tour the circa 1800 section of the home (about 25% of the home.) Guests who utilize a walker, will not be permitted to the second floor of the Peacefield House due to safety reasons.
