Celebrate Revolutionary Boston on a walking tour along the Freedom Trail, a 2.5-mile (4km) route that links 16 historical sites and covers two and a half centuries of American history. A knowledgeable guide will escort you on this 3.5 hour tour. The Freedom Trail begins at Boston Common. It travels past the Massachusetts State House, King's Chapel, and continues to the Old South Meeting House where a memorable gathering sparked the Boston Tea Party in 1773. View the Old North Church and grounds from the outside, see the statue of Paul Revere and walk by the site of the Boston Massacre. See the balcony from which the Declaration of Independence was read. Time permitting, your tour ends at Faneuil Hall and the adjacent Quincy Market. This indoor pavilion has over 100 shops, a plethora of eating establishments, and delightful street performers. You may remain here for independent sightseeing and return to the ship on your own and at your own expense, or return to the ship with the group.

Special Notes:

The walk covers a distance of approximately two miles (3.2km). Wear comfortable walking shoes. If time permits, you may remain in town for independent sightseeing and make your way back to the ship at your expense. Tour may operate in reverse order. Bunker Hill and the USS Constitution will not be visited due to distance and tour duration, each may potentially be seen from afar.

This is a walking tour and is not suitable for guests with limited mobility. Guests must be able to keep pace with the group.
