Be sure to read the Special Notes further down this page for important requirements and restriction.

Bora Bora is a showstopper. With its turquoise lagoon, golden sun, blooming hibiscus, coral reef and coconut-scented breezes, Bora Bora fully lives up to its reputation as the most beautiful island in the world. Its name is derived from the ancient "Pora Pora," which means "first born," and it is believed that Captain Cook mistook the pronunciation when he first came ashore.

No matter how you say it, the star of Bora Bora is its treasured lagoon, which famed novelist James Michener described as "so stunning that there are really no adequate words to describe it." The crystalline lagoon sparkles in shades of blue, green and turquoise, and a lagoon cruise takes in all the beauty of this fabled waterway.

Board your comfortable Bayliner deck boat and ready your camera for a guided two-hour cruise. Relax as your captain navigates through the picturesque west side of Bora Bora. There will be many opportunities to photograph the stunning islets of Motu Toopua and Motu Tapu and the island's highest peak, Mount Otemanu.

Warmed by the sun, you'll welcome a refreshing break in the day to enjoy the sublime waters. Snorkeling gear is available, and you'll easily find schools of tropical fish in a rainbow of colors. Also look for the graceful stingrays that populate the waters; they are safe to swim with, and sightings make for memorable encounters. Back on deck, you'll continue your cruise through gorgeous scenery and approach the coral reef, where you'll learn about the formation of this incredible island.

A short stop on a sand bank is an opportunity for light refreshments before setting off back to the dock.

Special Notes:

Guests should be accustomed to wearing snorkel equipment. Mask and snorkel are provided (some fins may be available but cannot be guaranteed) and you may wish to bring your own for maximum comfort. Wildlife sightings are likely but are not guaranteed. For your own safety and to preserve the environment when snorkeling, do not touch or step on coral reef. We recommend reef shoes in order to avoid any wounds and discomfort. Camera equipment should be carried with care and appropriate protection. On water tours, boat may be wet, personal belongings should be stored with caution. A waiver may be required to be filled out prior departure. We require guests participating in water activities, to know how to swim, be comfortable in the water & able to cope with occasional currents.
