Bonaire National Marine Park
As a result of diligent stewardship of its marine resources, which have been legally protected since 1979, Bonaire has been consistently ranked as the finest scuba diving and snorkeling destination in the Caribbean. This pristine, tropical paradise teems with colorful marine life, including myriad rainbow hued fish (such as tangs, parrotfish, damsel fish, butterfly fish and angel fish), turtles, rays and the healthiest corals in the region.
What you will see along the way:
What better way to enjoy the serenity of Bonaire's coastline than from the deck of a cruiser with a festive atmosphere. Focus your lens over the magnificent blue waters onto the 22 beaches that dot the island with sand ranging in color from sparkling white to darker hues, depending on the content of shells and coral. If you snorkel, you'll be treated to a dazzling array of colorful tropical fish (including tangs, parrotfish, damsel fish, butterfly fish and angel fish) that move gracefully among the currents. Look for elusive moray eels that hide out in crevices. Keep a keen eye out for special sightings of sea turtles, seahorses and rays.
Rum punch is served on board after the snorkeling adventure.
