Description

Be sure to read the Special Notes further down this page for important requirements and restriction.

What you will visit:
2-Tank Certified Scuba Adventure
Certified divers age 15 to 70 years old must present their certification card and must have dived in the last two years. The waters are warm and clear with visibility averaging between 100 and 150 feet. The arid climate lends to the clarity, as the infrequent rainfall keeps the ocean largely free of silt. At just 40 feet, the diversity of Bonaire's undersea world boggles the mind.

Bonaire National Marine Park
As a result of diligent stewardship of its marine resources, which have been legally protected since 1979, Bonaire has been consistently ranked as the finest scuba diving and snorkeling destination in the Caribbean. This pristine, tropical paradise teems with colorful marine life, including myriad rainbow hued fish (such as tangs, parrotfish, damsel fish, butterfly fish and angel fish), turtles, rays and the healthiest corals in the region.

Klein Bonaire:
Gaze in a westerly direction for the small and uninhabited island called Klein Bonaire. Extremely flat, it rises barely six feet above the surrounding turquoise waters.

What you will see along the way:
Look out over the magnificent blue waters onto the 22 beaches that dot the island with sand ranging in color from sparkling white to darker hues, depending on the content of shells and coral. If you dive, you'll be treated to a dazzling array of colorful tropical fish (including tangs, parrotfish, damsel fish, butterfly fish and angel fish) that move gracefully among the currents. Look for elusive moray eels that hide out in crevices. Keep a keen eye out for special sightings of sea turtles, seahorses and rays.

Special Notes:

Certified divers must present their Open Water certification card to participate and must have dived in the last two years. There is a $10 USD payment for the Bonaire Marine Park user fee that must be paid in cash to the dive shop. Please bring the money with you on the tour. A medical questionnaire will be reviewed by the tour operator and acceptance to participate will depend on the information provided. To avoid possible disappointment, we recommend medical requirements for diving be reviewed in advance and any possible medical issues cleared by your personal physician in writing. A sample of medical questionnaires can be found through the major Dive Association websites of PADI (Professional Association of Dive Instructors) and NAUI (National Association of Underwater Instructors). Certain medical conditions may prevent your participation. Any guests taking prescription medication must present a clearance letter from their physician (a qualified doctor with hyperbaric training) stating that they have been cleared to scuba dive while under this medication. Maximum weight limit is 265 pounds. Minimum age to participate is 15 years old and the maximum age is 70 years old. No diving gloves are allowed.

Medical Restriction:

No participants with ear infections/disorders, flu or cold symptoms, diabetes, heart condition, asthma, high blood pressure, walking disabilities, leg injuries, chest injuries and/or recovering from surgery or under medication. No amputees or physically challenged individuals. No pregnant women.
