Sightsee, shop and explore Berlin the way you'd like on this all-day, "on-your-own" tour. Your tour begins as you board a chartered train for an approx. 2 ½ hour escorted ride through the countryside to Berlin, enjoying water, and a light snack along the way. Upon arriving in Berlin, you will receive a map of the city and have approximately five to six hours of free time to explore, sightsee and shop on your own. Water and a small snack are yours to enjoy on your return train ride back to the pier.
Special Notes:
The train ride between Warnemünde and Berlin is approximately 2½ hours each way. Local currency is recommended for shopping. Majority of shops are closed on Sundays. The train is air-conditioned. This tour is not available to passengers beginning or ending their cruise in Warnemunde. Tour sequences may vary to avoid congestions at venues. Guests need to find their way to the departure train station independently. It is advisable to bring some small change of Euro coins as some shops do not accept other currencies nor Credit Cards for small purchases (furthermore, guests may have to pay for public bathroom facilities, usually between 50,- cents and 1,-Euro pp). Shopping location may vary as most shops are closed on Sundays and bank holidays. Only a few souvenir shops may be open.Details
