WHAT YOU VISIT
Bacab Eco Park
This family friendly nature resort has something for everyone. Named for the four Mayan guardians that hold up each corner of the earth, the 400-acre jungle park alongside the Belize River is a natural habitat with over 200 species of tropical flora, including orchids, ferns, palms and towering hardwood trees. You can lounge in a hammock under the shade of a buttonwood tree or take a dip in the exotic free-form swimming pool with a water slide. For those looking to educate themselves about the surroundings, take the Ixchel's Walk, a self-guided botanical trail where you can learn about the many medicinal uses of the native plants.

PHOTO OPPORTUNITY
The park's tropical wildflowers, flowering trees, palms and shrubs are home to native butterflies, hummingbirds and howler monkeys!

LUNCH
A stroll along the elevated palmetto boardwalk leads you to Pokonobwai Restaurant and Bar where you can enjoy a Belizean lunch served buffet style.

SHOPPING
There is The Maluna gift, Sam's Wood Carvings and Maria's Trinkets shop where you can find a variety of handicrafts and souvenirs as a memento of this fun filled day.

WHAT YOU SEE ALONG THE WAY
Sit back and relax during the 45-minute bus ride through the scenic countryside.

Special Notes:

Free WiFi available. Small gift shop on site and locker rentals are available. Some walkways of uneven natural materials will be found throughout the Park. Sunscreen, insect repellant, swimwear and a towel are recommended. Once at the Park, upgrades (depending on availability) to one of our other tours (Horseback Riding, Kayaking, Biking) may be offered. Maximum weight allowed is 235 lbs. Minimum age allowed is 1 yrs.
