Feel like a local as you hop on the local transportation and explore the neighborhood of Gràcia, an area in Barcelona with a village atmosphere, pedestrian streets and a lot of history. Until the 19th century, Gràcia was an independent village and today it maintains a character all its own. You will walk through its many plaças and learn about the Gypsy community and, of course, the Rumba Catalana-which was born in Gràcia-from a Rumba specialist that will accompany your tour. You'll also enjoy a local vermouth and savor regional flavors at lunch during a special visit to a private Gastro Club, which is only accessible by invitation, where you'll also experience a live Rumba show exclusively for Nat Geo travelers.
Special Notes:Wear comfortable shoes and clothes. The tour includes a considerable amount of walking on cobblestones with slight inclines. The tour will start at World Trade Center. Complimentary shuttle tickets to reach the World Trade Center and to return to the ship will be provided onboard.
Tour timeline may vary to avoid overcrowding, etc.
