Savor the history, culture and age-old traditions behind Barbadian rum with a visit to one of the islands' most successful rum distilleries. After a brief guided drive through Bridgetown, you'll arrive at the 300-year-old Mount Gay Rum Visitor Center, the world's oldest rum brand. Step inside the Visitor's Center for a multimedia presentation that details the company's history. Then, tour the distillery and sample the tasty rum, shop for souvenirs, and purchase a bottle to take home. Next enjoy a scenic island drive, including along to Hastings Boardwalk and the Garrison Clock Tower, a UNESCO Heritage Site.

Bottling plants are closed on Saturday, Sunday and bank holidays. Wear loose, comfortable clothing. Coaches are not permitted to take scooters, wheelchairs or walkers. There are stairs at the Mount Gay Rum Distillery. This tour may operate in reverse.Details
