What you will visit:
Auckland's Waterfront District by Bicycle
Set off caravan style to cycle Auckland's waterfront as you learn the fascinating history of the "City of Sails" on this exhilarating 3.5-hour guided cycling experience best suited for those in good physical condition with biking experience. Auckland's waterfront is a sparkling gem in the heart of a city where about one in three Auckland residents own a boat. The waterfront district not only showcases incredible views but is a lovely area with both historic and new buildings rapidly filling with chic cafés, boutiques and galleries. Wear active wear and proper footwear for the excursion.

What you will see along the way:
As you pedal alongside the harbor, take in views of Rangitoto Island, with its imposing volcano in its center. Discover the Westhaven Marina, one of the largest marinas in the Southern Hemisphere, and pass under iconic Harbour Bridge, linking central Auckland with the thriving North Shore community. From here, take in views of the city's historic suburbs and the bungee jump base, where daredevils plummet 131 feet (40 meters) toward the water below. Admire Viaduct Harbour, boasting fine restaurants, before returning to the starting point.

During your ride, pause in the Viaduct Harbour district for a refreshing New Zealand ice cream treat. Try the popular Hokey Pokey ice cream, a traditional favorite that mixes rich, creamy vanilla with honeycomb toffee crunchies.
