Acropolis Museum
Situated at the base of the Acropolis, with a direct view of the Parthenon, the new Acropolis Museum stunningly blends past and present. This modern five-story structure by architect Bernard Tschumi was designed to allow this rich collection of antiquities to be seen in natural light. Artifacts depicting everyday life in Athens during all periods of history are showcased within glass-floored galleries. The pièce de résistance is the top floor, where visitors can view a frieze from the Parthenon as well as the actual Parthenon through enormous windows.
Culinary Experience at Botrini's Restaurant
The renowned Michelin-starred restaurant Botrini's offers a truly personal, gourmet experience. Ettore Botrini, the host of Greece's "Hell's Kitchen" television show, is one of the top and most famous celebrity chefs in the country. A Corfiot Italian from an impressive gastronomic lineage, Botrini has worked internationally, in several Michelin-starred restaurants in Monaco as well as serving as head chef of his family's award-winning Etrusco restaurant in Corfu. Botrini's, situated in Athens, is celebrated for its beautiful, innovative and unparalleled cuisine.
