What you will visit:
The Antilla Shipwreck
A 4,000-ton Hamburg-American Line vessel is considered by many to be the best wreck dive in the entire Caribbean. Explore the Antilla, a German freighter that was sunk off the coast of Aruba during World War II. This 440-foot-long freighter met its watery end at a depth of 60 feet. Much of the ship is still intact, and the deck fitting, porthole and interior sections can be discovered. The Antilla is thriving, encrusted with coral formations – star coral, fire coral, brain coral and various sponges. Tropical fish include angelfish, butterfly fish, yellow frogfish and blue wrasses. Swim beside lobsters, orange anemones and shrimp that happily call these waters home. Visibility usually ranges somewhere between 30 and 60 feet.

The Pedernalis Shipwreck:
The center portion of the Pedernales, an Italian-built oil tanker torpedoed in World War II by a German submarine, remains submerged off the coast of Palm Beach, approximately 25 feet below sea level. The wreck's several large pieces are dispersed between coral formations, making visible many of the cabins, lavatories, washbasins and much of the tanker's pipeline system. The area around the Pedernalis is known for its many types of groupers, its bounty of angelfish, and an abundance of small reef fish, sergeant majors, parrotfish, eels and octopuses.

What you will see along the way:
Take in spectacular shoreline views as you travel to the westerly side of the island, studded with luxury resorts, then it's on to glamorous Palm Beach, a two-mile stretch of sand lined with amenities.
