Hop aboard a catamaran and travel 160 miles into Prince William Sound to see 26 "named" glaciers, as well as an abundance of wildlife - both on shore and below the water on this 5.5-hour cruise. A hot meal is included as well as a no-seasickness guarantee and a transfer to select Anchorage hotels and the airport.

Come face to face with several types of glaciers, including the alpine (hanging), piedmont and tidewater. It's not uncommon to see glaciers calve (when pieces of ice break off into the water) during the cruise. To witness this massive movement of ice and hear its thunderous roar is truly an unforgettable experience.

And the wildlife is equally astounding. Enjoy sightings of sea otters, seals, porpoises, sea lions and bald eagles during the cruise. You may also spot bears, mountain goats and whales - both humpback and orca. At the end of the trip we'll visit a bird rookery - home to thousands of kittiwakes.

Special Notes:

This tour is available to passengers disembarking in Whittier with an overnight stay in Anchorage after their cruise or departing on flights after 11:00pm on the day of disembarkation. It is not available to passengers on back-to-back voyages who will stay onboard the ship and cruise back to Vancouver. Guests who booked their Anchorage hotel through Princess will be dropped at their hotel and collect their luggage by 8:30pm. The tour then drops at the Anchorage airport by 9:00pm for guests with late departing flights. Guests who made their own Anchorage hotel arrangements will transfer to the airport, collect their luggage and make their own way to their hotel via taxi, Uber or shuttle, if provided by their hotel.

Whittier tours are only available to cruisetour guests who spend the first night of their package in Anchorage. Other cruisetour guests cannot take an excursion as they would miss the transfer to their next destination.

A vegetarian meal is available upon prior request at the onboard Tour Desk.
