Set near the top of the slate quarry at Paeskatun, offers fantastic views over the valley, the surrounding mountains and, of course, the dark winter sky filled with countless stars. Once you arrive, you can watch a Northern Lights film presentation that highlights the myths, history and science behind one of Mother Nature's most fascinating wonders. To make your evening even more enjoyable, there are several warm slate cottages where you can sit down with hot beverages and cakes plus a 'lavvu' (Sami tent) where you can gather around a campfire.
