WHAT YOU VISIT
Long Island
Measuring just five miles long and over 1,310-feet-wide, the island closest to the mainland is a national park with ten miles of walking trails, beautiful hidden beaches, headlands and dense bush areas. You'll have access to the Palm Bay Resort facilities where you can take a quick dip in the swimming pool, explore the bay by kayak, snorkel from the beach or just sit back, relax and enjoy a drink at the bar (at additional expense).

PHOTO OPPORTUNITY
Located in a secluded private cove, Palm Bay Resort is surrounded by the Coral Sea and reefs with a jungle full of flora and fauna.

LUNCH
In addition to a snack, the day includes a lunch of wraps, a fruit platter, cookies and a selection of muffins, and a cheese platter.

WHAT YOU SEE ALONG THE WAY
Following free time on Long Island, you'll embark on a scenic cruise through the beautiful Whitsunday waters passing by Daydream Island and the Molle Group of islands. Enjoy the scenery and extensive views of the Whitsunday Passage and Coral Sea and learn about the region from an interesting commentary provided by your captain.

The season for the box jellyfish and stingers generally starts with the onset of the wet across the top of northern Australia, usually around October and lasts until April.

Must be mobile enough to step a deep step into the vessel.

To make your day as enjoyable as possible, wear your swimsuit under your clothes; bring a towel, a change of clothes, water resistant SPF30+ or higher factor sunscreen and money for drinks and souvenirs.
