WHAT YOU VISIT
National Wine Centre
Since its founding in 2001, the Centre's interactive exhibits and displays help support the culture and science of Australian wine, with a focus on South Australia. Take the Wine Discovery Tour and learn about Australia's 65 wine regions and view the largest open-air cellar in the Southern Hemisphere, which houses up to 120 wines.
The exterior of the National Wine Centre is a distinctive wine barrel-shaped with rammed earth walls, colossal wooden beams, and shaped glass with a brushed aluminum interior.
Following the tour, you'll visit the cellar door and sample from a range of wines-all dispensed from state of-the-art Enomatic servers, technology that keeps the wine in optimum readiness for you to enjoy and appreciate and before you leave, you'll receive a souvenir bottle to take back to the ship.
WHAT YOU SEE ALONG THE WAY
Once out of the city, you'll head to Adelaide Hills, one of the state's largest wine regions and one of the oldest wine-growing areas in Australia. Located in the Mount Lofty Ranges region, it's blessed with vineyards set among fruit orchards, verdant farm land, bushland, and dairy farms.
Special Notes:The legal drinking age in Australia is 18 years of age, guests under this age can participate in the tour but may not consume alcohol.
Tour timeline may vary to avoid overcrowding, etc.
