WHAT YOU VISIT
Cleland Wildlife Park
Get close to Australia's furry critters at this award-winning wildlife reserve. Set on a sprawling 86 acres and situated on Mount Lofty's slopes in Cleland Conservation Park, the family friendly adventure spot allows you to pet and feed kangaroos, koalas, wallabies, emus, cockatoos and dingoes.
PHOTO OPPORTUNITY
At over 2,300 feet above sea level the summit landing on Mount Lofty provides breathtaking views of Adelaide, the coastline, and on clear days you can see Kangaroo Island.
LUNCH
Indulge on a delicious lunch served at a restaurant at the top of Mount Lofty. Enjoy vegetarian quiche, platters of garden salad, platters of Australian cheese, tea and coffee while admiring dramatic views of the city, the plain and the coastline.
SHOPPING
The 35-year old shopping complex known as Rundle Mall is considered a city landmark. Over 1,000 retail stores and services are spread throughout its 1,700 feet of car-free space (be sure to have your picture taken with the iconic bronze pigs!) as well as a beautifully restored Victorian arcade, and contemporary sculptures.
WHAT YOU SEE ALONG THE WAY
The 150-year-old Botanic Gardens, which were created with a nod to the gardens of Versailles, and the impressive 135-year-old St. Peter's Cathedral with features similar to Paris's Notre Dame are just two of the stunning sights you'll see during your city tour.
