Board your motorcoach and travel along the Jutland coast on the approximately 70 minute drive to the Djursland Peninsula.

Founded in 1200, the old market village of Ebeltoft is today one of Denmark's most beloved seaside resorts. Ebeltoft boasts cobblestone streets lined with traditional half-timbered houses, flower boxes overflowing with colorful hollyhock, and a quaint old market square. The former Town Hall, built in the 18th century, is now a museum chronicling the history of the village and the Djursland Peninsula. After a short orientation, enjoy free time to explore on your own. Ebeltoft is home to a Glass Museum as well as artisan studios, traditional craft shops, restaurants, and cafes.

Stroll down to the old port to view the historic steam frigate "Jylland," today a museum. The restored warship is the last remaining steam-driven, propeller-powered frigate in the world. Jylland played a crucial role in Denmark's 1864 war against Prussia and Austria, a war which Denmark lost. Enjoy some free time before continuing your tour.

After your visit to Ebeltoft, board your motorcoach for a scenic drive through the surrounding area of Mols National Park. Wildlife in the park ranges from freshwater otters to sea eagles, while the moors are dotted with Bronze Age burial mounds. A short stop will be made at the impressive 5,000 year old Poskaer Stenhus megaliths and enjoy some of the best views in Denmark.

Return to the ship following your scenic drive through the park.
