Vaccination & Testing Requirements by Region

Princess is ready to welcome you on board. Below you’ll find important information regarding testing and vaccination to help you plan your next cruise.

We've removed the vaccine requirement for most voyages so than anyone can cruise and adjusted our pre-travel testing requirements to make it less complicated to sail with us. A small number of Enhanced Guidelines voyages have their own Vaccination and Testing requirements.

Guests ages 18 or older must have received primary series of COVID-19 vaccines including one booster dose if eligible, received any time before embarkation. If cruise departs, arrives or visits Canada or Australia guests 12 to 17 years old must be fully vaccinated (no booster).

Vaccination and capacity restrictions apply. Guests aged 18 years or older who are not up to date require a vaccination exemption to sail. Guests can request a vaccination exemption to sail by contacting Princess.

* For voyages departing, arriving or visiting Canada, kids ages 5 to 11 who haven’t been vaccinated are welcome to cruise and will need a PCR within 72 hours PLUS Antigen at terminal. Kids under 5 years of age have no vaccination or test requirements.

* For voyages departing, arriving or visiting Australia, with the exception of sailings to or from Western Australia, vaccination requirements do not apply to children aged 11 years and under. For sailings to or from Western Australia, vaccination requirements do not apply to children aged 4 years and under.

Have received their final dose of an Australian Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) approved or recognised COVID-19 vaccine, with the last dose being administered at least 14 days prior to the beginning of the cruise and can provide proof of vaccination.

Vaccination and capacity restrictions apply. Guests aged 12 years or older who are not fully vaccinated require a medical exemption to sail. For sailings to or from Western Australia, guests aged 5 years or older who are not fully vaccinated require a medical exemption. Under local protocols, prior infection with COVID-19 is not grounds for a medical exemption. Medical exemptions need to be submitted to Princess for validation before a booking can be guaranteed.

Testing is required for all voyages departing from Athens, Greece. Tests must be conducted in-person by medical personnel and guests will need a physical letter with the negative results. Test results proctored by video are not accepted.
