Tour Overview

Belfast City Tour - Departing the pier, enjoy a brief tour of Belfast. Pass the political murals along both Protestant Shankill Road and Catholic Falls Road - reminders of 'the troubles' in Belfast's turbulent past. Pass the imposing City Hall and its grand façade. In front of the hall stands 'Thane,' a marble sculpture commemorating the 1912 sinking of the ill-fated Belfast-built RMS Titanic. Continue to Strangford Lough, a sheltered bay where the patron saint of Ireland, St. Patrick, is said to have landed. The lough holds special scientific interest, hosting over 2,000 marine species.

Baking Lesson at the Home of Tracey Jeffrey - Step inside this quaint 18th-century thatched-roof cottage on the banks of Strangford Lough and join your instructors in the kitchen. An expert teacher and pâtissiere, Tracey studied her craft in France for years. Now she's sharing her love of baking with students in her hands-on classes. Join her (subject to availability) and her expert baker for an up-close opportunity to learn the professional secrets of bread making. Sit and watch - or roll up your sleeves and join the fun - as they combine the ingredients, proof and knead the dough just so to create their tasty treats.

Following your lesson, relax and enjoy some tea or coffee while you sample the baked goods prepared during your visit.
