Papatûânuku Earth Mother Tours
Experience a exclusive Mâori cultural guided tour through a stunning native kauri forest. Stella will meet you at the pier and take you on a journey back in time as she shares with you her knowledge of this beautiful area, the stories and legends handed down to her by her ancestors. She will show you how, her and her community are working hard to save and protect the Forest and wildlife of there home town.. As you make your way down through the forest you will be in ore of the magnificent 900 year old kauri tree and learn about its struggle to survive throughout the generations of time.

Haruru Falls
Tucked away in a hidden valley on the peaceful Waitangi River, is the first river port of New Zealand known by Maori as an aromoana or ocean path, a pathway used by inland mâori tribes and also by early settlers as a means to move the ancient kauri trees from the forest out to sea for export.

Ruarangi (Waitangi Lookout)
On top of a landmass once formed by the youngest volcano in northland a magical view out to your ship with the majestic back drop of the Bay of Islands, Ruarangi said to be the place where the two skies meet.
