Tour Overview

Your tour begins as you board your motorcoach for a scenic, three-hour, scenic drive via the motorway to the Louvre.

En route, you'll pass the Place de l'Opera, often called the Hub of the Universe, and considered one of the most elegant streets in Paris with its well-designed houses and luxury shops. You'll also witness Tuileries Gardens, a stretch of French style alleys and lawns along the Seine River right bank, before reaching Place de la Concorde, the largest square in Paris.

Along the way, you'll also see the Orsay Museum housed in a grand railway station built in 1900, and the elegant, tree-lined Champ Elysees.

Upon arriving at the Louvre, you'll marvel at this former royal palace. Today, it's perhaps the greatest repository of fine art in the world. Experienced guide offer highlights of this vast collection, including the Venus de Milo, the Winged Victory, Leonardo de Vinci's immortal Mona Lisa, and other paintings by such masters as Delacroix and Gericault. You'll have free time to browse in the museum shop before departing for lunch.

What could be more impressive than lunch in the Eiffel Tower. The Eiffel Tower was built for the World's Fair in 1889, held in celebration of the French Revolution in 1789. In 1916, the first wireless telephones were tested on the tower. Although meant to last for the duration of the World's Fair, the Eiffel Tower still stands today, despite all protests that this huge 'object' wouldn't fit into the architecture of Paris. Today, the Eiffel Tower is a beloved landmark of Paris and is the symbol of the 'City of Light.'

You'll enjoy lunch at 58 Tour Eiffel, a restaurant on the first floor of the tower, while viewing charming views of Paris from the venue's large windows. When it's time to call it a day, you'll snap a photo or two of the imposing tower before your return drive to the pier.
