San Jose del Cabo's origins date back to 1730, and it is rich with historic landmarks. A shining star in the center of town, La Revolución, is a sophisticated and authentic Mexican restaurant boasting a unique and exciting menu carefully crafted by acclaimed chef Benito Molina. Fresh and inviting, the cuisine is locally sourced and organically grown. Serving up artisan cocktails is award-winning mixologist Osvaldo Vazquez, whose inspired creations and signature beverages are a lively and inspired approach to spirits. The Tortilla Workshop and Taco Culinary Experience was hand-selected by Bill Esparza, a James Beard award-winner and leading expert on Latin American cuisine.

The quaint, authentic Mexican town of San Jose del Cabo is lined with charming streets and fascinating historical sights. As early as the 1500s, sailors referred to San Jose as a 'safe watering place,' an important stop for boats that were low on provisions. Now, tree lined boulevards mark the shopping district that boasts colorful sidewalk murals painted by schoolchildren and the charming 'Zocalo,' or town square. The spires of the Church of St. Joseph tower above the town, and its roots can be traced to the San Jose mission, built by Spanish missionaries in 1730.


A hands-on tortilla workshop is an opportunity to learn about the different kinds of tortillas as well as gourmet tortillas (creole corn, Mexican pepperleaf and blue corn), created especially by Chef Benito Molina. Then, watch as he expertly prepares Oyster Kung Fu Tacos, Octopus & Pig Skin in Red Chili Tacos and Octopus & Kastakan Tacos. This feast is paired with premium drinks selected by La Revolucion's own mixologist, Osvaldo Vazquez, whose signature drink, 'La Revolución,' is a spectacular highlight to your tasting experience.
