WHAT YOU VISIT

Eaglecrest Lodge Alpine Zipline
Upon arrival at the Eaglecrest Ski Area, you'll meet your expert guides, who will equip you with top-of-the-line harnesses and helmets. Then, you'll receive a safety briefing and a general orientation on the course. Experience the thrill of traveling from tree to tree over multiple lines surrounded by spectacular mountain views and over rushing streams. Next, you'll traverse over a suspension bridge while looking down at a salmon spawning stream. No hand-braking is required, so you can enjoy a total hand's-free experience. Next, get your inner lumberjack ready, because you'll have the chance to try your hand at axe-throwing!

PHOTO OPPORTUNITY
Each zipline will land you in a tree house platform, where you will have time to capture the best moments and scenery with your camera.

SNACK
The railing-enclosed landing platforms have been transformed into unique tree houses that allow for a place to savor a granola bar while enjoying the scenery and hear facts about the forest and Juneau area.

SHOPPING
Souvenirs are available for purchase in the shop.

WHAT YOU SEE ALONG THE WAY
Enjoy the alpine meadows and panoramic mountain views as you make your way to the Eaglecrest Ski Area located in a beautiful setting in the Tongass National Forest.

Special Notes

 

Participants must be at least 8 years old, 36" tall and weigh between 70 lbs. and 250 lbs. and be comfortable with heights. Not recommended for pregnant women or those prone to seizures or neck, back or shoulder problems. Closed-toed shoes, pants and layered clothing recommended. An observer ticket may be booked onboard for anyone not wishing to participate but accompanying someone who does.

Unaccompanied Minor Policy: Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
